About Me
What does UX design mean to me?
I’d rather save this for an in-person or Zoom conversation, but without going on a tangent, UX design from my perspective is about designing experiences that solves real problems and helps people accomplish their goals.
My Career
I have over 7 years of experience designing and executing enhancements to employer and employee digital platforms. I’m currently working as a UX designer for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona to help improve the overall user experience of managing health benefits and accessing healthcare. Recently, I worked as a freelance UX designer on a mobile gaming app project that had an objective to help people incorporate mindfulness in their daily routine (March 2021 – August 2021). I also was a designer at TAG Employer Services (March 2019 – October 2020) where I lead the implementation of a new design system for TAG’s certified payroll product and designed several new features that were built and launched. I also conducted multiple user interviews with TAG’s clients, which fed into many of my product design decisions.
Prior to my experience at TAG, I worked on the communications team at AmeriHealth Administrators (March 2013 – March 2019) where I designed new experiences for our member and client portals, and lead several redesigns of our company’s intranet pages.
My Education
I’m a Temple University alumni (graduated December 2014 with a BA in Advertising: Art Direction), and have continued to pursue my passions for UX design through bootcamps in addition to my on-the-job training since my days at Temple.

My Life
I moved to the Greater Phoenix area from Philly in 2019.
Yes, I’m an Eagles fan. No, I never threw a snowball at Santa Claus.
Since moving here, I started trail running – absolutely love the hiking trails in AZ!
